Happy St Patrick's Day to you all!
I hope you are celebrating safely and responsibly.
Yes, I love a pint (or two) with my Corned Beef dinner, but let's not pretend we are fine, when there may be any question at all. The price of your pride or a cab is far less than a getting a ticket or a prison sentence for involuntary vehicular manslaughter.
Rant over..... but I promised reality. How many of you can say your life has never been touched by an alcohol related event that had a negative result?
So, my new grandbaby is growing and more adorable every day. They grow so fast, I think it was just yesterday when the twins were snuggly and sleeping. Living miles and miles away from them all is soooo difficult!
Are any of you involved in Relay for Life? I started a team here in Raleigh and am getting excited about being involved again. It is a small group that is in the process of rebuilding and reorganizing. My direct sales company, Miche Bags, donated 48 Prima base bags and Hope shells for me to raffle off as a fundraiser and the response has been wonderful!!
Tickets are $5 and I can accept PayPal if you want one. Just comment below and we can coordinate the details. The Relay is May 29-30, so there is still plenty of time.
Knees, Knees, Knees. I had one of my knees operated on last August and it has recently started hurting a lot lately. The non-surgical knee had a cortisone shot and it had started back into the pain it had before. I went to see the surgeon yesterday and he put cortisone in both of them. I can kneel today!!!!
I can't remember the last time I was able to kneel. I will, most likely need full knee replacements eventually, but as long as cortisone is working, I can schedule that when it is convenient.
It sucks getting older, but the alternative is worse. ;-)
